An all online PS4 slim. Interesting. I might consider that if the hard drive is big enough; although, maybe it doesn't matter since your purchase info is saved on their servers and you can download any game you bought at any time. Maybe not forever though. That's a thought. Still, I'm tempted to go all online purchase for the new systems. It seems like the way it's going anyway.

Intellivision Dies on PS2

I don't remember having a problem with the keypad controller when playing on the actual Intellivision console. You could touch the keys and see what they did. I think that facilitated figuring it out. When you have to read up first, that slows down getting into the game a lot. No one wants to do that.

Put it on my wishlist. Always love reading about games. Why not another? I want to hear about Lord British's squables with the "little people".

Intellivision Dies on PS2

I played this collection right after Taito Legends 1. Soon I'll be back to Taito Legends 2. Still playing the awesome Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. Then I'll be back to Taito stuff. Can't wait.

I played Frog Bog on Atari 2600 a few years back. It was called Frogs and Flies and is graphically much simplier and the controls a little more intuitive. I was surprised how much I liked it when I played it with a friend. When the Intellivision version came on Xbox Live's Game Room, I played it there and got all the medals for it. It's simple but fun.

What I've Been Playin'

Your in for a treat then. You can get Robert Greenberg's series "How to Listen to and Understand Opera" at most libraries. It's very long, covering the whole history of opera, and very awesome. Greenberg is not dry and boring. He weaves lots of different disciplines into the story of opera. It's so engaging. I've listened to it several times and then tried to watch and/or hear every opera mentioned. So great!

If your library doesn have it, have them interlibrary loan it, and get it that way. I search across three counties in my area to get just about anything I want, especially these Teaching Company lectures on DVD or CD. I love it!

Comic’s Day!

My comic store moved down the street recently and I immediately thought they were moving to a smaller store because of this "revolution", but I asked them and apparently the new store is bigger. It is possible though, that they got a better deal on rent in the new place, so maybe the pressure is on.

I mean, book stores are about to disappear because of e-books and Amazon. I hate to think of what's to come for comic stores with online places like comixology selling to your tablet.

A comic I just got had an ad with a code for a free copy of issue 0 of Original Sin. They tried to get me to make an account on Marvel though to get it, so I didn't download it, but if I had a tablet, I might think about going download with my comics, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty attached to my paper issues. I don't want to see my comic store close up. I like going there every week. I think I would stop reading comics if it closed. Downloads just don't appeal to me that much no matter how good the story. Call it my inner caveman that needs something in my hand to be satisfied.

Taito Legends - Plump Pop

I've trying to figure out how to describe it. I think pastels; color with low saturation and natural hue. Kind of like the Kirby Epic Yarn. It's usually considered a feminine thing or childlike, but I just like it. Apparently pastels are closer to the hue of natural pigments which is interesting to think about.
