That sounds awesome. It sounds like a game that I would dig into the lore of the series and whats going on in the world. There are a lot of RPGs that I get invested in as a game but not their worlds. I am looking for to the rest of this list. Love it!!!
Yea I never had an NES but that's how I am when I see a Genesis sitting in a store. It is just so nostalgic. I fear I would probably play it more than my current gen consoles.
And I am completely okay with that. It is bad enough amazing games that don't sell well drop price so much. Or if I just hold out, play some backlog, the games I want will have price dropped completely.
I thought about getting one of those. There are a bunch that play SNES, NES and Genesis. But I think that classic look of those consoles would be much better looking in the entertainment system. Hard Corps is a little easier using the little robot since he is harder to hit and has double jump. It is kinda unfair but it works. Uprising was the XBLA game right?
Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines looks epic. How deep of an RPG is it? For beginners or hardcore would say? I am looking for a really hardcore in-depth RPG to sink myself into.
Jade Empire is really unique of a game. I really like the how the setting is not the typical European Fantasy Esk fair. How is KOTOR 2? How does it compare to the first one. I was a big fan, and KOTOR was my first Xbox game so it means a lot to me and I had a blast with it.

Yea I remember how hectic it was on 1UP but I was always to afraid to join in. I am glad I am taking that leap of faith this year.
Yea I am still hunting one down. It is so hard to choice between the SNES and Genesis since in my opinion they were both excellent systems. Sega definitely had awesome ads for the Genesis. Have you beaten Contra Hard Corps. It is a tough games but worth it. So much fun. I have never played any of the gauntlet series until Dark Legacy came out to arcades.
