EDF on Tuesday. Can't wait.

All that gross out stuff in death metal bands like Canibal Corpse doesn't really appeal to me. Neither does the satanic stuff in bands like Slayer. I just like certain sounds. Behemoth, after listening to some of the live DVD from the new album, really knows how to work a riff. They sit on it for a good long time and really build the sound to 'til it sounds like an orchestra of guitars. I like the way they pace their songs. It's slow so that it really sinks in. The scary stories don't interest me, just the scary sound.

Squigly's moves remind me of things I saw in Clay Fighters. I like the humor inherent in Skullgirls. May have to play it sometime.

My Little Pony's fighting? It's like a backyard tea party gone horribly wrong. "Oh the girls are fighting! Make them stop!"

I remember first experiencing horror movies like Salem's Lot and being so scared of them. Hearing about them was enough for me. I didn't want to see them. Demon's Souls' atmosphere puts the heebie jeebies in me, but I push through it. I kinda like being scared in games. The other week I got surprised by a alligator attack in Far Cry 3. I was just swimming along and WHAM!. A whole gator pounced on me. I stabbed it good and escaped and laughed nervously afterwards. What a thrill.

I got a N64 sometime after it was out and managed to not play any of the highly rated games for it. Instead I played games like Hexen, Pokemon Snap, Diddy Kong Racing, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Destruction Derby 64, Duke Nukem 64, and Clay Fighter 63 1/3. There's still some games I'd like to play on it like Conker's Bad Fur Day, the Banjo games, Ogre Battle 64 and Paper Mario. It's a great system. I'll never get rid of mine.

I wonder if the game is as good as people are saying the movie is now. I'm probably going to see it on Sunday.

Just heard a quick opinion from the Filmspotting guys who saw a prescreening for press. They thought it was fun and a worthy remake.

Woah! Cool! I didn't know they did extra scenes for the Anthology edition.

Wish someone would do a Venture Bros. game, an adventure point-and-click like Monkey Island I think would be nice.

Me it would be "Do You Remember" by Phil Collins. That song gets me every time but it's so sappy.

Love the way you can toss enemies right at the screen. I gotta play this.
