Nice Home Improvement reference!

Which track did you hear by Pentatonix? I heard Little Drummer Boy. They're pretty good, but I don't think I'd buy their albums. I've been listening to Christmas music, too, but I'm more on the folky end of the spectrum.

You must not have lived right on the coast. I'm a mile from the harbor. And this one wasn't bad, merely inconvenient and early. The one we had shortly after I moved in to my cottage dumped three feet of snow on us and had sustained windspeeds of up to 70 mph. It doesn't affect us as badly in the northern NE state as it does in the southern ones - we just soldier on, business as usual, and dig out without whining because it's just winter up here. In CT, they act like it's the apocalypse.

I hate those sorts of hassles. Jason went through something similar when he bought a TV off ebay (first mistake) last year that arrived and didn't work. Good luck getting things sorted out with that.

There are a lot of really good point-and-click adventure games free online. Let me know if you want any recommendations.

I picked up a bunch of those games in a PSN sale last spring. I started one of the Sam & Max games, but got distracted before I got very far. What I played was fun, though.

That had to suck, Joe. At least I've been doing most of my job hunting through the Maine Jobs Bank, so I know before hand which jobs require online apps. The room cleaning job at the Hilton was the exception. I had to email the head of housekeeping first, and then she asked me to come in and fill out an app. Unfortunately, she had something come up and wasn't able to meet face-to-face, but I have an interview on Wednesday at 9:00 AM.

It's not the worst game I've ever played, so give it a try. It's free, what'll it hurt. You might like it better, or at least you'll be warned that it's not all that and a cup of tea with a crumpet.
