I can't believe this stuff just slipped their mind. Makes me think they deliberately set out to toss out a lot of Metroid formula just for the sake of it.

It was pretty annoying getting locked in a room in the Prime games, but it was only in certain spots; does every room in Other M have stuff to kill? Can you not return to any previous room at all?

What is 'Other M' anyway (don't tell if it's a spoiler)? Were there any new powerups besides heal? Can you switch beams? Finally and most importantly, does her facial mole play a part in the plot?
