I read a review of it somewhere (IGN, maybe) and they said it really hits its stride after you have some time to power up your character. It sounds like a much more interesting game to me than Dead Island, but I never did play that one either.

Tangram puzzles are in no way unique to this game, of course, but they are done very well here.
It's cool seeing all the recognizable pictures/shapes they can make with these pieces.

You could say that all day while wondering the App Store lol but this one is pretty neat 
It's not tiring, not like having to waggle a Wiimote or something. Besides, that worm really gets the blood pumping when it gets close!
Does it help to think of it as a high score chaser?
There are a couple of level-based Rayman runners that are really good. You'd probably like those better.
