Hawkeye Initiative: Am I shamed yet?

Yup. Invisibles has some very questionable stuff. By comparison Sandman is just as good but much more vanilla.

It took me awhile to like Dane. I mean the kid sets houses on fire for fun. He also beat up a teacher who was just trying to help him out while shouting "You'll never understand me!".

Also the concept behind The Harmony House is just creepy. Talk about brainwashing!

Hawkeye is too sexy. I'm not worthy,Matt! He's too much of a perfect adonis. I'm shit by comparison!

As for nudity in Sandman, I remember it being pretty tasteful with no unusual contortions going on. I didn't find it offense then again, some people might.

Thanks for wishing me the best on my game. Glad it's finally coming along at a quicker rate. Best of wishes on your Batman project as well! The writing is some of your best and the artist helping you is awesome! Laughing

You'd be the best person to review Dark Souls II considering how devoted you were to the first game. (Aka, you even went through it again as other classes) Looking forward to it,Chris!Wink

Yeah, I know Betty's (Elizabeth's) conciousness got transferred into a Japanese female ninja. Must have been jarring, especially the wardrobe change! Tongue Out

The pictures are funny as hell. lol. Unfortunatelly, some people seem to see this as some sort of "serious crusade". To which I say "There are other comics and graphic novels that don't have the stuff you are mad at. Keep looking!"

It's true, mainstream comics are easy to poke fun of. lol. However, I partly like them for that very same absurdity I guess.

The 90's was the age comic book creators were trying to buck the status quo. As such we got a few good reads like The Maxx, Bone, Witchblade, and The Darkness but we had to put up with some utter nonsense too.

The Hawkeye Intiative has a point and it's great as satire but I don't think it should be taken as a "serious crusade" against sexual objectfication in comics. There's more artful ways of getting that across.

This was an awesome featurette. Loved the interview too! And to think I've never played an rpg from Spiderweb. I feel like an ignorant turd now. lol.

Probably the case. Shame too considering Lost Odyssey had one of the best rpg stories of all time. Or at least that's what I've picked up on from first hand accounts.
