So, I can still consider having children?  I don't really want to have them if I have to make an offering of them.

I did not grow up playing RPGs, so my histroy with FF is very spotty.  I have played a portion of FF, nearly finished FF IV, hope to finally get through IV, I beat VII, played through two discs of IX and that is about as far into the series as I have gotten.

I do not think that it is just FF that is the problem.  I think that a large portion of square's output recently has been questionable more often than not.  Which is presicely why this open letter is to square, and not to FF. 

I hate the Binding of Isaac, I could never get to Mother.  20 or so hours and I never got to the end...  those team meat basterds.

That cake looks pretty darn tasty... 

I know that I will most likely never gget around to playing it...  also, I do not have Gold anymore, and I thought that it was a prerequisite.

Since I have a very very very spotty history with SMT, I will not be getting it.  

I have a fondness for the snes and psone jrpgs.  I can only think of a handful of jrpg that captured my attention in the ps2 era, and even less from the current generation.  I do still have xenoblade, the last story, and pandora's tower to play, so that may change.

I had the same problem when I last played New Vegas, so I just finished up the campaign.

I was filled with frustration all the time the first time I played it, but I knew that I had to finish it.  I had a copy of Prime 3 on my shelf waiting for me to finish prime 2.
