Ben dips his feet into Dragon's Dogma!

If you love Monster-hunter then yeah, you will love this,Kev! Fights against the larger beasts get epic and very challenging. (Without being ridiculously unfair)

Many of the comments Anita got we're unnecessary. Sure, I don't like her or agree with her but I'm not going to threaten to rape her or kill her.

However, I think "trolls" are their own clique. Using them to judge the whole geek/gamer continuum is unfair.

Griefing innocent people was never apart of my personal nerd code. I think once someone devotes their whole life to harassing others they step over that line. Aka, they lose all their credentials regardless of the social grouping they're most strongly affiliated with.

I'm just afraid this game will steal a huge chunk of my life. lol. Already feel the addiction seeping in.

But yeah the 29.99 price point on amazon certainly doesn't hurt either.

Nintendo is good at stability and quality control. I gotta give them that! I didn't have any problems with my PS2 but that's because I bought it 3 years into the console's shelf cycle. I had to send my 360 in to be repaired once and that's when the cheaper "arcade edition" just hit.

Why did “The Last of Us“ get a “free pass” when the "Xbox One" didn’t?

Arkham City was guilty of this too. If you bought the game used you had to pony up cash for the Cat-Woman content. I remember writing an angry blog about that on 1up. I refused to buy AC for a very long time but after AC:GOTY edition dropped in price considerably I finally went for it.

The character generator is AWESOME,Matt! Matter of fact, the whole game is pretty friggin awesome. I don't have many complaints thus far.

I agree with what Movie Bob says 100%! Still, I wish the geek elite would stop using Anita Sarkesian as a martyr. I don't have a beef with her over the fact she is a female critiquing games. I have a problem with the fact she's a college hipster(I know nice people go to college too. I'm not trying to generalize,Blake. lol.) who bought & played games solely to portray them in a mostly negative light. Aka, she didn't grow up with games and she never truly had a genuine love for the hobby in the first place. As such yeah, she comes off as hypocritical and condescending to me. If she was a "self labelled guy feminist" doing those rants I'd still feel the same way. Her gender by itself isn't the cause of my discontent. It's the type of person she is.

I want to go into next gen but it will not be for 2-3 years, Joe. By then the PS4 and Xbox 1 will have more robust game libraries and all the bugs will be worked out. I dunno, buying a brand new console at launch seems kind of silly to me personally. I know some of my friends may disagree with my philosophy but I'm a patient "wait and see" kind of guy.

I'm cool with downloading games digitally onto my hard-drive. That is so long as A. My console never becomes an obsolete useless paperweight so long as it is well taken care of and B. My downloads are somehow linked to my account so even if I have to replace a console I'll still have my games.

"All digital" isn't necessarily the devil but microsoft went about it all wrong,James.

Exactly Chris. When your trust is betrayed it leaves a scar and it takes time to heal. You can't simply be like "Oh, I forgive you ya big lug, give uncle Chris a hug!"

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy microsoft listened. But they didn't change out of altruism. They changed because they were losing money. If they could have gotten away with it they would have dicked us.

Still, I see what sony is pullin with its' whole "To play multi-player online you have to buy a subscription to playstation plus!" It' the only dirt I have on em so far based on this E3 but it is worthy of mentioning. lol.
