Yup,got to thank Canada for Bioware (at least partially)! Ellen too!

It's more difficult to believe microsoft is NOT somehow in league with the NSA than it is to believe they are. Especially after Edward's confessions. Sure, certain people will call me a conspiracy nut but my ramblings have a basis in facts. lol.
Happy Canada Day,ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! (Stereotypes, terrible stereotypes,Vic. lol. But if saying "ay" is a Canadian's worst stereotype Canada must be doing something right!)
I wouldn't even jump on board for Fable or Gears Of War but I understand why others would. Criticisms aside, I really loved both those franchises.
It's kind of weird. A part of me does want to forgive microsoft but the other part refuses to. Guess I'm still divided on the issue. But that's my personal cross to bear. Noone else has to and I do not expect it of them!
I agree. I'm slow to trust microsoft. However, I'm glad people spoke with their wallets and as a result microsoft finally did listen. I also think some of their online options can be great for functionality, networking, and sharing if implemented properly.
Guess we'll have to watch their next play,Alejandro.
You're playing Shin Megami Tensei IV? I hate you, bastard. I'm so jealous. lol. But yeah,I think Mirrors Edge is akin to Dark Souls. Aka it was appealing because of its' challenge, as opposed to the absence of it.
I'm conflicted between platforming and fighting/gun play. Aka, I like all those elements about equally so I don't get as angry if say a new Tomb-Raider game has a bit more "Uncharted" thrown into it. I understand how purists may feel differently though. Aka, often times something important is lost in transition when a game takes on additional personality traits to define its' present identity.
I'm betting MS is gonna drop the price to be neck and neck with sony. I can't complain about that since either way it's good for gamers,Nicole.
I also agree MS needs better PR. Almost every MS spokesperson comes off as an arrogant-reality-challenged-humanity-detached-narcissist.
The PS4 will be my first next gen system too but I might throw microsoft a bone eventually. (If their exclusives are good enough that is. And hey, I really love my 360 so microsoft has potential!)
Exactly! Perfectly stated,Blake! You can be my super hero PR guy! I promise to never jizz on you or throw a car at you! (Unless I'm drunk or otherwise being mind controlled by an alien entity!)
I thought they had great ideas for online services. Yet it was like "Hey, I'm going to give you this pretty bird but not before I clip its' wings so it cannot fly." For every merit there was a backwards policy or a messed up restriction that threw a wrench into the gearworks,Adam.
It also appalled me just how many people microsoft's negative laws could cause harm to. Aka many of their would be plans seemed capable of dicking over people over seas, people in rural areas, independent retailers, indie game developers, and people living in impoverished areas with poor electric grids.
They were trying to create a pyramid where they were on top, game stop was the left corner, and greedy game publishers were the right corner. If you happened to operate outside that structure you were royally boned.
Also, let us not forget the eye on top of the pyramid, aka microsoft's connections with the NSA. I'm already tired of the government and advertisement firms mining data from me on places like facebook and twitter. The kinnect's double purpose as a potential spy cam really breaks the camel's back for me!
I believe some of what microsoft suggested is our future. Aka, digital distribution, digital sharing, and digital networking will become more common place across multiple platforms. The problem is microsoft took these concepts and screwed up a potentially good thing!
I felt the same about Odin Sphere. Loved the art style but the game itself could be a tedious grind. I also haven't picked up Catherine because frankly I wanted another rpg instead of a puzzle game with dating sim elements. Persona 4 Arena is a great fighter but truthfully I'm not heavy into fighting games. (I pick them up but don't practice them to tournament perfection.)
I loved Digital Devil Saga, Persona 3 Fes, Devil Summoner 2, and Persona 4 but Atlus hasn't made rpgs for the big consoles like that in quite awhile.
This generation Atlus hasn't catered to my tastes nearly as much. However, I am glad they published Divinity II Dragon-knight saga. Ended up being my rpg of the year. I'm grateful they published King Of Fighters 13 as well.
It's true. I love Atlus as a company/publisher but their releases can be hit or miss.
