I would have been steel years ago if it wasn't that i'm not trying to get away from Metal, but it's because I had been very slow with the genre. Still, I would also put it as a combination, together with fire, water, normal, flying, bug, fighting, ice, dragon and dark as other possible choices.

Great review. Since I never played any of the games before, i'll take your word and probably start with this one.

Oh man, glad to see someone knows about Ford Racing. I remember having the third game and enjoying every minute of it, and the love I had for cars and especially Ford cars added to the enjoyment factor.

As far as bashed games or atleast that people don't seem to care, I think I could probably include Sonic Riders and its sequel Zero Gravity (not sure about the Kinect game as I had never played it). Once you get the hang of the controls, they are very interesting racing games. I would include Skyward Sword, but that's more of a divided opinion issue.

Another rule: every Velociraptor shall always wear a top hat and a monocle. Wait, cross that: every living being in the entire universe (including bacteria) shall always wear a top hat and a monocle.
