Hmm, guess I should put in the effort then. First I'll need a copy and then it'll have to get in the back of my long line of RPGs waiting to be played lol

I've never played Xenogears and I have such mixed feelings about whether I want to. I've heard so many good and bad things about it lol. Of course, I still want to own a copy
Yeah, I can see that as way to look at "peppy." "Inspiring" is a much better word. Glad I can pick 'em even if I can't describe 'em lol. Happy New Year!
Awesome! Can't beat free stuff
I've never dug into free MMOs but I have some experience with paid vs. free-to-play games in the iOS space, and I imagine MMOs are kind of like that but on a monumentally larger scale. I suppose I just like too many different things to put my entire gaming budget, basically, into a single game for a year, or whatever. But if you plan on it and know what you're getting and when to stop, then I say more power to you. Like I said, I really enjoyed Guild Wars 2 and would love to get back into it sometime. To me, it was worth the $60 initial investment but I couldn't stomach paying another $10 or $15 each month. It just becomes such an expensive game so very quickly. I do hope FFXIV is successful in the monetary path Square Enix has chosen. Sounds like (this time) they have put in the effort to make the game worth it...if you're into that sort of thing lol. So, more power to you!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too, Alex! I certainly was not expecting to get one, but the Vita is pretty sweet
I'm normally a stickler for physical copies but so far all of my Vita games are digital, so I don't see that being an issue for me with this console. I definitely wanna get Tearaway.
I've never been a fan of MMOs, but my wife and I did play Guild Wars 2 for several months at the beginning of the year. I wouldn't mind giving A Realm Reborn a chance if not for the subscription fee.
I loved the GameCube game but hadn't played one till New Leaf. My wife got it and I moved in after she had the town for a little while. We didn't stick with it as long as I wish we would have but I really it enjoyed it while it lasted. An excellent addition to the 3DS library.
It's a really good story, so you should try to find a copy to read. Shouldn't be too hard, either, because it was first published in 1938.
