Thanks,Cary! I would have reviewed these gems sooner but I had no psp until good ol' Dave came along. So far I'm really enjoying what the psp has to offer. My 360 is feeling very neglected right now. Poor thing!

I think this could very well be a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. I hope that maybe "jump in/jump out co-op" is an option too. (Despite the Ono/Blanka message suggesting otherwise)

All that said, I will not be turning to "next gen" for quite awhile. I iz cheap! lol.

Disgaea was alright. I at least thought Laharl,Etna,and Fione were well voiced. Granted they were a bit silly and melodramatic but Disgaea is supposed to be a comedy tactical rpg anyway.

Because I cannot understand Japanese as a language I'm not at liberty to say which voice actors do a better job with Disgaea.

However,I agree when the English dub is "utterly terrible shit" it's better to hear the Japanese voices while reading the sub-titles. You got a point there!

I was in the same position when I gave my snes away many years ago. lol. However, it was bitter-sweet on account I knew the kids I gave it to would get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

The psp has quite a few really good rpgs. I'm milking that for all its' worth,KnightDriver. lol.

Origin was great! I beat it but haven't gotten the chance to finish Oath Of Felghana. (Though I beat the side scrolling snes version it is based on)

If you ever get a psp or vita, Ys 7 is definitely worth checking out!

Funny, but I always thought Atlus's localizations were really good. Aka, the voice acting for Digital Devil Saga, Persona 3,Persona 4 Arena, and Persona 4(the rpg) was all top tier. (Personal opinion of course)

However, I don't "need" voice work in every game I play. I believe somtimes developers pay actors way too much money just so they say a few lines in their game.
