Gotcha. I hate to admit it but it was kinda amusing for a minute as I imagined you going toe to toe with somebody over grocery coupons. SOrry!
That said, it sucks that some people are rude and ruin the experience for others. We are lucky to have this place, at least from the small amount of time I have been able to spend here it seems that way.
Pardon my ignorance but what is RMN? I typed RMN.com thinking it was a gaming site and got retailmenot.com. , a coupon site. I imagine that is not it..lol.
That is a heck of a deal. I played through Costume Quest last Halloween and played Grubbins around Christmas time. I have since recommended it to everybody who will listen.
I remember Whitney Cummings was on that punked show I remember seeing reruns of. Other than that I have now clue who anyone you mentioned is. Is that a good or bad thing?
I think it is refreshing to hear that an adult took responsibility in what minors in her custody are exposed to.
I think this is just an attempt to recoup some money of games that did not sell as well as expected. Lightens the hurt so to speak.

The only people I ever hear or see using the word gamer are people refering to theirselves. I talk about games a lot at work and nobody every calls me a gamer. They also never roll their eyes or think that it is weird that I play games. Most guys relate in some way and the most negative thing I ever hear from a girl is "they're talking about boy stuff". I still maintain this is paranoia. If people stop using terms like gamer to describe themself then people probably won't think twice about their hobbies.
Speaking of Galaga, I work with a master of it. He apparently learned the patterns and can flip the score without much effort. I have witnessed him actually go too far and roll it over losing the high score and go "augh, I did it again." He just walks away at that point and lets any nearby person play a "free" game.
I hear ya on the big site comments. I think people just go there to argue. That is why I chose to set up camp on this site. Everyone here for the most part just likes to talk about games and if people disagree, it is mostly civil and in good fun.
