Yeezus is... a weird album. I didn't really like it that much, even though some of the tracks were produced by Daft Punk. My sister is a big Kanye fan, so I'll try to bear having her play it a lot.
I agree with you saying that it's like Radiohead's Kid A; it's sort of like a reinvention of sorts.
