My main problem with the 3DS is that digital purchases are tied to the actual hardware instead of portable accounts--something that should've been implemented several years ago. I don't like how either company is handling digital content on their handhelds.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any reason to plunk money down on any new consoles day one. You'd be set for a while just working on your backlog.
I went in not having played the Wii version, and had a blast with it. I love the combat system, the translation is great, and the visuals are absolutely incredible.
I can't wait to pick up Dragon's Crown in a few weeks.
For me it's a tie between the PS2 and the 360 controller, due to the better pad vs. better analog sticks, respectively.
It's going to be hard for Nintendo to get a foothold this Christmastime with all that extra competition.
It's mainly an issue with the fighting game scene. While this BS is going on, League of Legends players are getting athlete visas and will have the world tournament in goddamn Staples Center of all places.
And yeah, I don't remember the RAM being an issue back when we saw that Shadow Fall demo done with just 4GB. People are so fickle and oversensitive about these specs, man...
The industry reeeeealy hopes so. Otherwise they're screwed. :p
I don't see it even getting cheap enough for people to buy for several years. And even then I doubt they'll care as much as they did with regular HD, if at all.
There is a risk of there simply being too much shit going on, both in terms of sheer amount of content the player has to deal with and how much time they can devote to make everything work. But I'm sure Rockstar can pull it off.
