No surprise the story telling in DMC is still a low point for many gamers. lol. I remember when I first got into the series the writing & dialogue didn't seem so bad but years later I couldn't help but to recognize it as complete campy cheese. (Which in its' own way is still "awesome" in a low brow juvenile kind of way.)

It's good Ninja Theory made the basic enemies more interesting to fight though it's a shame they fumbled a bit with the bosses.

Be that as it may, something about the reboot still intrigues me & I imagine I'll enjoy it when I get the chance to play it!

Game creation is hard work even if you have a beginner interface to help you a long. At least you finished yours. Mine is still sitting at around 10% done!

This rpg is great. The main character reminded me of Cecil from FF4. I got close to the end then life obligations made me put it down. When I returned I realized I had forgotten the nuances of the combat engine. Ouch!

Don't know if I have it in me to start over from the beginning but maybe I can use the new game file just to get accustomed to the battles again!

I apologize because I know I've contributed to awful stories about trolls on the net. But hey, at least this story is positive to balance out my written scrawls of daily angst. lol.

Glad you enjoyed the illustrations. To me I don't consider em finished until they're cleaned up & colored though some illustrators can really do eye popping art while sticking to black,grey, & white!

It's okay to be firm on your stance and yeah, it's a complicated issue! I actually don't consider objectification wrong up until a certain point. But like all things it gets messy when a certain line is crossed.

A lot of endings seem to do that lately. It's true, I'm very attached to the first two games. Perhaps the ending in 3rd Birthday will be ignored and Square/Enix will do a better follow up PE game? Methinks I'm hoping for too much!
