That's what I just said. That's not even opinion, it's subjective fact. You can like other shows more, but breaking bad is, from a writing, cinematography, and acting perspective, the best show ever.

Breaking Bad is the best show ever. Ozymandius proves it. That episode is more of an emotional gut punch than the red wedding.

Now, onto tips: Cut the tails off of every boss, they will give you weapons.
Go up. That's the direction you need to go first or you will die horrible. The game is more metroidvania, so be weary of this. Go to the graveyard if you have very few souls so that you can get items. Also, there;s an elevator that you can't call down yet in Firelink shrine. Jump down there, and you'll come to an area with some chests that have some valuable items in them.
Don't give up. Once you get past the first real boss outside of the tutorial, things will get better. Not easier, but you'll have learnt enough to get through. Bosses are more akin to puzzles than just button mashing.

Yeah. As I said I have no problem with them disliking the characters. That's a valid criticism. It was more their sweeping statements about games as a whole that got me riled up. They essentially said fun and satire should be mutually exclusive, and that fun is all a game should be. That may not have been the intention, but they worded it very poorly.
Also, I HATED GTA IV. What's the gameplay like in V, is it better?
