All indications point to yes on the DLC front. Basically your getting the "proper" version of Ninja Gaiden III before it was gimped into the pale imitation of a game that it was on the Xbox 360/PS3. KoeiTecmo's attempt in trying to "modernize" their franchise by removing core parts of the game only to sell back as DLC didn't do them well that go around, thus I figure they don't dare mess up the Wii U release that way. But don't mind my suspiscious mind...Looking forward to see if it does have Online Pass. I need another game to rip apart besides God of War: Acension.

What a wonderful list! Such detail and explaination on your history with Star Trek was a pleasure to read. It must be very excisting to get into Star Trek all the way this time thanks to the much needed Reboot!

I feel the compulsion to write my own top 5 of star trek characters! A series such rich in character development who can't, moreso with the new Star Trek movie out now! My inspiration has returned!!!

one question: does it have online pass? can't find anything saying it does on the box or in game reviews. that's whats keeping me in my Online Pass Watching write up on the game.

Perhaps that's the reason why TR didn't get an Online Pass for their multiplayer. Could you think of anyone willing to pay for a multiplayer mode like that? If they did that I'm sure the game wouldn't have sold as well as it did this go around, and possibly ended any chances of the series in continuing. Or it being reduced to microtransactions.

It's great that SNK is trying to give younger generations a chance to enjoy what SNK/Neo Geo had to offer back in the day. But they might've been a little short sighted when they offered the Neo Geo X.As things stand we best get what we can of vintage SNK goodies before they become harding to find, pirating notwithstanding.

They've done so far good with digital offerings on XBLA/PSN/Wii but they could be better given how one has to buy Neo Geo games on PSN's game station yet you have to buy separate copies of the game if you want to play them on your PS3 and PSP, unlike some PSN game offerings.

Is this series on more than one console? I recall seeing this game but I don't recall which.

I barely remember that one too! sadly I didn't think much of that one either. still was for Ikari Warriors even though I prefered the coin-op version.

So far the complications are good enough for me too. I'm just glad I got Metal Slug for the PS2. I hear the Wii version was ruined with forced motion controls. Too bad the Neo Geo X is a bust in most respects, but still I'd like to try out Metal slug on an AES before I try for an import on my saturn.

I know I still need the KOF Anthology to complete my complication collection. From there I hoped to spread out in getting more SNK games like I did with KOF11 and NGB, KOF is a good start for me though I'd love to have some of the Capcom vs SNK and SNK vs Capcom offerings. I'd just prefer to get the PS2 versions given I have better lucking playing 2D on that system than the Xbox.

I too was disappointed when they didn't include SamSho V Special in with the SamSho anthology. Metal Slug Anthology gave us Metal Slug X, why can't SamShow anthology give us SamShow V Speical!

So the only thing that could save this game for me is the violence when Lara takes down her enemies? sounds to me this game would suffer the same fate as my copy of Uncharted: beat it and moved on.
