After five years of being denied a media pass to E3 for some reason, I actually got approved this year somehow. So I'm going to E3 next month.

Mario Odyssey is a great game, but I didn't gush over it like many others did. I actually have put more hours into Kirby Star Allies according to the Switch's log.
I enjoyed Ys 8 but it did have a few problems. Like you said, it was way overbloated and I didn't like how you had to beat a certain number of missable sidequests to get the best ending. I still like Ys Seven better. The blue haired lady in Ys 8 was pretty cool, though. I also like what one of my brothers called Ys 8: "Jurassic Park: The JRPG."
I played Kameo when I first got my 360. I know I beat it, but I don't remember much about it other than it was a typical Rare platformer. Did you know Kameo was originally going to be on the GameCube? I even saw footage of the GameCube version at E3 one year!
I bet school libraries are a lot different now than when I was in school.
The Island World in Banjo-Kazooie is called Treasure Trove Cove. If you play in that world long enough, you'll be able to learn how to fly! I love that game and its sequel. I've beaten them both and got all the achievements in the 360 versions.
I reviewed Guacamelee. It's a fun Metroid style game but it gets really hard. I did beat it, but I don't tell you anything else so I don't spoil it for you.
The library where I Iive isn't very good. In fact, when I was younger I called it the Book Closet. Our school libraries were better. I wonder if schools even have libraries anymore?
The good Transformers games? You mean like Fall of Cybertron? That one was really good! I don't usually play those kinds of games and I played through Fall of Cybertron all the way. That's how much I liked it.
The bad stealth sections is what kept me from beating Beyond Good & Evil as well. The game really doesn't do stealth well, yet nobody seems to address that problem when talking about the game. That's why I don't like it as much as most others do.
I bought that Eat Lead game on sale for my brother Jeff. It was good for a chuckle or two, but I don't think we ever finished it.
I beat it in around an hour so it is definitely short.
I don't really venture out into the app store. I just know what games come out through whatever press releases get emailed to me.
I don't know if you'd like the Tamagotchi game but it is free so I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it.
You must have a really good library. I've never been to one that rents games.
