just basic stuff, mostly. At Temple, I was the research librarian, but it was during the summer when most of the kids were off. At the private library I mostly put books back on the shelves. That was an amazing place though, and I miss it.

That Flintstones car though!

I remember watching Jeopardy at my grandma's house when I was a kid. In my memory, it seems like Trebek never aged through all those years, but I've seen pictures of him now from back then, and he did change, I just didn't notice. It's really sad he died.

Ni No Kuni 2 is really cool. I really want to go back to that.

I played Knights of Pen and Paper back when I was playing a lot of mobile games. If you don't mind the touch screen, there are a lot of great games available that you can't play anywhere else, especially a lot of RPG's that don't require precise control. I need to get back into it.

yeah, I've really come to take the game info on the internet for granted. If I ever get stuck, I just do a quick google search. Back before the internet though... that crap would drive you crazy.

I think I've heard that too. Yeah, this was a pretty good game. Not DQ8 good though!

I've worked at three libraries - Temple University's art school library, a private library in Manhattan (patrons paid a subscription to use it, and it is really old - Herman Melville and Alexander Hamilton used it), and a local library where I lived in Maryland. The first two were paid jobs, but I volunteered at the local library. I really love libraries, and these were great experiences.

I'm gonna read and comment on these later today, Cary. That last game sounds totally crazy. There's no shortage of creativity in the gaming industry, but making a balanced, good game is really hard.

Simtastic Sunday

I played Sims Online at the dawn of online games, and while it was fun for a little while, I soon lost interest. There was so much damn hype about that game though.
