Prog Metal!

Katatonia reminded me of Tool somewhat. In that they are great musicians who can show it in subtle ways. And with a good singer who can almost be whispering, yet evoke strong emotion. I only recently got into bands that feature growls. Guess it started with Leave's Eyes and Dimmu Borgir. I like the band Liv Krull used to be in,Theatre Of Tragedy a lot too. Very good music picks here. I learned a lot and enjoyed them all.

This bit of DLC was really worth the wait. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. Tina Tina will be the best DM in history.

I will give them quite a shock! But I only break out the kilt on special occasions. They will have a unobscured view of my junk.

I've stated how much I like Parasite Eve many times. First game I bought for PS1 and I still have it. I have PE2 and 3rd Birthday and have no regrets. While I do wish they had not strayed so far away from what made the first game shine, both sequels have merit. The part about realism in fiction made me think. You suppose there are people who think that DNA can be used to change people into superhuman creatures? They must think The Hulk was a documentary, too! And Spider Man as well. Damn those radioactive spiders!

I love that film. That last part adds new meaning to "getting your wings clipped". They could make a good game from that.

Even though I've seen both sides of the money spectrum,I can relate to what you mean. I've never been wealthy, but have lived on meager means before. The time of my life that put it into perspective was when I went into the Navy. You meet people from all over the country, from all walks of life. Some college educated, some not. Some rich, some poor. We found we had more in common than we ever knew. Being stuck out at sea with people can do that. The thing that did puzzle me was the attitudes of some younger black guys. These were dudes who came from really tough backgrounds. Some had lived in gang-ridden areas. The smart guys saw the Navy as a way out of that crap. Others missed it so much they could hardly bear it. Like being in a war zone and surviving it was a badge of honor. Maybe so...but not a great way to live. This country is going through a big change in demographics. Rich white men don't always get their way now. It makes them crazy that they can't buy elections and make poor folks think they care. Romney's defeat was a resounding sign that the times have changed. People are not such sheep they buy into the propaganda as much anymore.

I have an app on iOS that is an 8-Bit music keyboard. Has sound effects and everything. I love messing around with it trying to play old game music.

I'm going to download that game onto my PS3. Played the demo a few days ago and thought it was great. They captured the whole feel of those retro games.

What is SEGA Spectrum? Not getting my hopes up...
