It sounds like they just want to sell the more expensive model here instead of having to ship the regular size and XL's. This sucks for the hardcore Nintendo fans who would have bought both. I'm still waiting to see if I need to "upgrade".

I saw some things about The Order on Reddit. The game looked fun but it wasn't on my must buy list so I'm taking the wait and see approach. Hopefully the folks who did spend the money on it will enjoy it. $150 is a lot on a game even if it comes with a bunch of stuff like a statue and art book.

. Yeah that' is way too big for a young kid and his gaming. 32 inch is a good size. I loved my 32 inch TV. I wanted to get that Tomb Raider game but I heard it was more suited for multiplayer so I'm currently staying away from it. Watch me buy it a couple of weeks from now.

I get the reasoning behind you and spending money. When I do the coin can stuff the price of a video game console doesn't hurt as much because it's money that is just normally sitting on the floor so its free cash.
I think I'm feeling self conscious about playing an older 2k game instead of the most recent game . I'm actually use to having people know what I am playing. I think being around the PS3/Vita, and more recently the 360 with its overshare stuff did this to me. Heck I used to have the Facebook feature activated that when I earned a trophy it would post on Facebook. That quickly got annoying so I shut that off.
Hot damn that's a cool papa. Not teasing your kid with something cool on the television while he has to his homework. Props man.
How cool is that when companies do that? Hulu gave me a free month because I wanted to quit, but I quit a month later anyways. The cool thing is that these companies will take steps like that to help out their customers, and that's how you build loyalty.

I never got into the Gamecube but I do now own a game (yay swapmeet!) You know I can't remember if I own Pyschonauts now, and I love Taiko Drum Master. Minor Spoiler for next week's blog: I bought two sets of Drum Master so I could have two Drums. Target was a gold mine when it came to Clearance PS2 games.
The PS2 was such a solid era of games. Hell with that huge library there is a game for everyone. I hated that with the original X-Box. When my first one broke when I looked it up online it was always the disc drive. Blah!

I have an explination for that. There was Toys R Us deal many moons ago where I had to buy three games for something like $20. I wanted two of them but I couldn't find a third game. I went with this game because I saw that the Game Shark had a code for it so I tried playing it like for a bit. I couldn't get into it even with the almost God Mode features. I do own a couple of RPGs because at certain times I wanted to try them just to see if I could get into them.
