Mystery Gifts: Birthday Edition

Posted on 05/09/2015 at 01:39 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm considering a New 3DS for christmas and I wouldn't have a problem with wireless transfer since I have not a single downloadable content due to Nintendo not bringing the Eshop to Colombia and Latin America.

I would go for the Wii version of Xenoblade, but as Mothman said, it's pretty much expensive as hell by now and there's no GameSpot or any equivalent where I live that can sell them "cheap". Honestly, if I just play the game as its own thing, I don't think i'll be that much bothered.

April 2015 Recap

Just so you know, Never Alone is a puzzle and plataformer based on a tale from the Alaskan inupiat tribe about a fox and a girl. I haven't played it, but from what i've seen, it's rich in narrative and characters interactions, but lacks a bit with the puzzles and plataformers, also apparently having wonky controls.

I really need to get 999.

New Stuff, Like Music, a Game, Some Bags, and a Car

Congrats for Super Mario Galaxy! Hopefully you won't give up on this one unlike you with other plataforming games.

Of Montreal from what i've seen, it's an Indie darling and one of the best from the genre. I wouldn't know that much sinde I haven't heard much of their output.

R.I.P. Konami

Shame to see such a classic company throw the towell, but atleast we know the lasting legacy they had.

Although now i'm worried about their catalogue falling victim of being hard to find and get if they are going all out and stop their gaming distribution. Fingers crossed so others can buy the properties.

RETROspective: VG Reboots and Remakes

The good thing is that the FPS Shadowrun thankfully didn't kill any potential for future games, thus Shadowrun Returns is a thing that thankfully exists, and it's canon to the SNES game to boot!

Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter Already Past Goal

Just shows how much people apparently miss Banjo-Kazooie. I won't be surprised if tomorrow I wake up to find that it has reached the 1 million goal.

I'm Not Liking This New Trend....

In a lot of ways, I do concur with the annoyances, but at the same time, just like a friend of mine roughly said when Wii-U Zelda was delayed, i'd rather have a complete masterpiece rather than a rushed job.

Though I do think develpers shouldn't push release dates unless they are confident on their goals. Maybe do something like CD Projekt Red when instead of pushing a release date for Cyberpunk 2077, just say the game will be released when it's ready.

The Amiibo Farm Vol. 1

I'm pretty relaxed about Amiibo's myself, since i'm just looking to get the ones of Link, Peach and perhaps Sonic if it isn't too rare. I would have said Rosalina before, but sadly it seems there will be only a 1/50 chance of getting that one. I'm also looking forward to the Splatoon Inkling Amiibo.

May’s PlayStation Plus Preview

I played the first few hours of Guacamelee and it's pretty awesome so far. The art is great, it has very nice combat and I love the references they throw around (even the obvious ones).
