I've been curious about Downton Abbey ever since I heard that Broadchurch was the most popular show in Britain since that show.

I know they are totally different shows though. I had to watch Broadchurch because of David Tennant and I loved it.

Anyway that's all I know about Downton Abbey. I have yet to see an episode.

Not because I wanted to. Most of my collection is on Amazon for sale and a lot is already gone. :(

I was doing just fine until the junkyard boss. I wanted so much to continue the game and find out what exactly is going on. I guess I could just read about it but that wouldn't be the same,

One of the things with GOG games is you can actually mess with OS compatibility by right clicking on the executable and selecting properties. 

Failing that there are always patches out there.

I agree it's not really an FPS coz there's not a lot of S'ing going on. I just sort of lump all games that reduce the player to a pair of arms into one big bunch. :D

Loved Nier but a boss battle requiring the dexterity to pick up a bomb and throw it back at the boss stopped me cold. Especially since the boss battle was so frikkin' long and this was at the end.

Also as you know I just bought Deadly Premonition Director's Cut and I'm quite enjoying it so far. The respawning Japanese style undead are still annoying but they would have been less so had I remembered how to run. I was limping by the time I finished the prologue.

SH 1 in HD would be.... extremely crappy

I used melee weapons a lot but I definitely used bullets on the flying things. The first thing I did in SH 2 was change the movement control to what they call 2D and the rest of the world calls normal. It makes the game much easier to play when left and right let you run to the left or right and not spin in a circle.

I spent a lot of time running in SH1
