My browser quit unexpectedly a while back while I was writing a blog and the auto-save, um, saved what I had, so it works at least some of the time.

I saw the headline and thought, "Hey, that's cool!" Then I saw Mega Man Powered Up 2 & 3 and I became suspicious. It was downhill from there lol. Nice wish list of games though.
I've had similar feelings about Capcom ever since last year when their big release was a western-style RPG (Dragon's Dogma). I couldn't help but wonder what happened to the Capcom I knew and loved.
Castlevania music is great which is one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of the Lords of Shadow reboot actually. They took one of the signature aspects of the franchise--strongly melody-driven music--and turned it into this ambient movie soundtrack thing. If LoS had been its own game unrelated to the franchise I would have thought the soundtrack was fine. But this is Castlevania! *gets down off soapbox*
Glad you liked it! Yeah, the transitions are really good and the remixer did a great job of building from the clock tower theme into Vampire Killer.
I've wondered about Alex too but that's not the Columbia I was referring to. That's what the city in BioShock Infinite is called and that's where I was going lol
The possibility that anyone could be a robot and what it really means to be human are certainly fascinating topics. They're what lie at the heart of Philip K. Dick's classic book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and its loose (but excellent) movie adaption Blade Runner.
Yeah, having OCR do the SFII HD soundtrack was a great acknowledgement and inclusion of the fanbase by Capcom. Of course, then they cancelled Mega Man Legends 3, so maybe they don't know what they're doing after all
Thanks for listening!
I've heard of this port but never would have guessed it was so good. Thanks for throwing some light on it.
You know, there really aren't enough games about robots anymore. Maybe once the craze with zombies dies down (there are some great jokes waiting in that phrase lol), robots will get some more time in the sun. Regardless, $9 is an awesome price. I hope to play this game someday too.
I don't have a Vita and I'm not sure when I'll get one (eventually!) but I've already got Gravity Rush and Golden Abyss digitally for free thanks to PS Plus, so whenever I do get a Vita I'll be set with some great games right away
Sweet! I'll be getting that then, though the Disgaea games are notoriously long, so I'll probably put off playing it for a while lol. Still, I've always been intrigued by this series and no better way to try something than for free
