Street Fighter II: Turbo was the SF game that I had, so I played it constantly. I'm not really into fighting games, so Turbo is still my favourite. I loved to put in the code to give you 10 Turbo stars, so things were ridiculously fast.

I still remember seeing the Super Nintendo for the first time. I didn't even know it existed; a world beyond the NES didn't even cross my mind. I was at a friend's place, because he wanted to show me this "new Nintendo" he just got.
Super Mario World blew my mind. I remember being absolutely stunned by the graphics and all the buttons on the controller!
I got my own that Christmas with SMW and Turtles in Time and I was one happy kid. It's still my favourite console as well.

I always just thought this was a mediocre survival horror game. I had no idea it was an RPG! I'm slightly more interested in playing it now, even though it sounds pretty drab.

Thanks! It was a great experience. I can't recall if I've read your review yet or not, so I'll have to go back and check it out.
I did find one of the retro stages! I was running through a level and above me, off of a path I hadn't taken, I saw a Famicom cartridge! I started yelling and my fiancèe had no idea what I was talking about, haha.

Oh yeah, it's a good price. She just didn't really get how a downloadable game could cost as much, lol. I'm looking forward to playing it some more!

I never did the Pokemon thing. I definitely missed out on something totally awesome, considering how it's endured to this day. I played a little bit of Red and Yellow version at a friend's house back in the day, but not much.

I can't help but suggest VI (3 US), but if you're going to try some of he older ones, you should start with IV (2 US). IV, V and VI are all great games, but I think VI is really a special achievement.
I like the snow at the start of the winter season, but now I'm ready for some warmer temps, haha.
