Capcom's classic beat-em-ups are great. I'll definitely keep an eye out for these. Hopefully Capcom will bundle them together.

Metroid Prime is my all time favorite too! It's just so very good. The series as a whole is exceptional. Maybe that's part of the reason for the backlash against Other M. Even though the game is fun to play, the story drags it out of that upper echelon where we expect the series to be. Imagine if they did the same thing to The Legend of Zelda and not only gave Link a stilted voice but also made him agonize over his past in long drawn out monologues.
Anyway, I hope Nintendo gets the ball rolling on a new Metroid soon if they haven't already. It's been 9 years since Zero Mission (the last 2D Metroid) and 3 years since Other M (last 3D) and that's too long in either case.
A lot of people say Super Metroid is the perfect 2D action game and they're probably right. I certainly can't think of any way to improve it. And even though Metroid Prime is my favorite, I wish Nintendo would make another 2D Metroid. It's been 9 years since Zero Mission came out. That is much too long.
I had not heard of this fan remake but it sounds incredible! Like a lot of other comments have said, Sega should buy the source code from these folks and publish it. I think often these companies don't revisit old franchises because they did and it sucked. But fans like these guys know why the original games worked and so their game does too, unlike the corporate mandated schlock. Argh! This is indeed frustrating.
I got stuck in the Protoss campaign in the original StarCraft. I've always meant to go back and play through it all again and beat it. I can't justify buying SC2 till I finish the original lol. I've been trying to make a dent in my backlog recently too so I haven't been buying anything lately, though I plan to get BioShock Infinite at the end of this month.
Oh man, that's tough! I always have trouble picking favorites but let's see. Original Game Boy would be either Link's Awakening or Donkey Kong '94. N64--Ocarina of Time. When I beat that the first time I immediately erased my game and played the whole thing again lol. My all-time favorite is Metroid Prime on the GameCube
I'm surprised at your choice of Circle of the Moon for GBA. I got that game at launch and was totally blown away by it but I thought each sequel got even better. Have you played Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow? CotM was a little too grindy for me. I was always underpowered lol and the randomness of the card drops was kind of frustrating. It was sure satisfying to finally best Dracula in that one though.
I've been watching Killzone Liberation for a while. Never seen it for less than $10 new, so $.99? Dang! Can't beat that price! I love the thrill of finding good games for cheap
My wife and I played through this. It's a great co-op game. You can play with just two people locally (like we did) or three online. I think it would be awfully repetitive to play solo but the magic of co-op really gives this game some legs.
Judging by the title I thought this blog was gonna be about Portal lol
Wow, I've never heard of this game at but it sounds great. There were so many good shmups back then, it's easy to come across I've never played.
