I remember wanting a Wii, but ultimately never got any of those consoles (PS3 or 360 included). I played some games from that generation via Steam 2012 and later. I wouldn't mind buying a Wii on the cheap with some cheap games.

I would still like some sort of IM, just because, but if that's really hard to code it's not a necessity.
I'd also be up for receiving notifications of reviews and staff articles, since I pretty much go straight to my inbox for who posted a blog and feel I miss out on some cool stuff.
One of these days I'll buy a cheap Wii and get MP Trilogy, MadWorld and some others on this list.
I liked watching Dan play Punch Out! on Game Grumps as well. Or was it Arin playing that one? I know Dan played the original.
Sonic Colors DS was really good, wish I'd have gotten a shot at the Wii game. Always wanted to play NMH 1 & 2. SMG games look fun. I played TP on GCN and don't think I'd buy the Wii version.
What games does the coffee pot have on it? Garden Warfare?
I've been playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes because it's easy to jump into and play and why the hell not finish something I bought for $5 months ago. Finished the story, but now hunting for trophies. Folks keep saying these LEGO trophies are easy to get, but I'm not sure about some of them I'm seeing.
I never really played RE games much, only played a bit of the RE4 HD version on PC. But if RE7 is that much scarier, I might be more inclined to play it. The last horror game I played was Until Dawn. Got close to the end with a rental, but wish I'd have finished it. Oh well, Red Box only gave me so much time.
FFXV is on Xbox One? What a strange world we live in.
I hope your dad starts feeling better.
I've thought about moving out of Texas, and might at some point if I can find work elsewhere, but I definitely worry about the quality of food elsewhere.
My excuse is that I don't own a single XBOX system.
Is FFXV a real-time battle system? I want to play it, but Conan's Clueless Gamer made it seem like it would take a while to get anywhere.
For the holidays, I'm spending them at my parents' in Dallas until the 2nd or so and then going back to Nacogdoches for more professoring. 3 hour drive and pretty much what I usually do for Christmas these days, so no big deal.
Happy Holidays!
The premise sounds interesting. Knowing me, I'll probably try to guess what places he visited or thought about in real life that he considers "The Transcendence" or the Slow Zone.
