have you tried cleaning the ps3, Peter? I remember you writing that you were gonna give it a whirl.
i think i'm gonna ask for a loot crate for my bday.
it certainly looks like fun. are you enjoying it thus far?
what is Fish Place> fish n chips?
Fish n chips sound delicious today. How far are you into Resident Evil 4?
I think I may go trade in Fallout New Vegas and DA Origins....I beat New Vegas back when it launched and I'll never beat Dragon Age Origins. I don't think I enjoy the Dragon Age games or universe very much.
gonna get Deus Ex Human Revolution and go all the way this time.
78 bucks for SMG? WTF??!!!?
I had no idea stuff was more pricey in Australia. I'd never afford it.
That's an excellent idea! Not only will you have that vast gaming education and experience under your belt, you'd have taken a thorough tour of your collection and gotten your money's worth. I'm all about getting my money's worth!
I'm sorry about your buddy being out of work. That's a tough pill to swallow, believe you me. Keep him distracted!
I'm with Mothman..it's pretty decent show-wise (I need to watch season 2) but the game is ugly as all hell. I think I put in about an hour and a half before I realized it wasn't going to be something I'd ever spend much time with. Glad I'd only spent 10 bucks on it.
Horror games you say? Perhaps this is the perfect impetus for me to actually get into the copy of Resident Evil 4 HD I've had sitting in my library for 3 years. The game's generally loved by all, especially 'round the Pixlbit site.
Operation RC wasn't too bad, you say? If I can find it for the 4-5 bucks you paid for it, I think I may just jump on it. Couldn't hurt, right?
Once I realized I could truly go in any order I want, the game began to open up for me. I ended up killing the Flamelurker and then sorta felt the other bosses after him weren't quite as hostile. Plus, magic is pretty overpowered in the game....gonna depend on it less this next playthrough.
World 5 didn't present too much of a challenge for me....I'd say the huge guys with the clubs were the hardest part of it. The poison didn't bother me so much, as I had a poison res ring, plenty of lotus consumables, and was wearing Old King Doran's armor. My poison res was in the mid 300's. I liked the atmosphere....seems to me the Souls games copied it to throughout the series. I'd have liked to see them get a bit more creative with the poison levels in DS 1 and 2, after having seen how they use it in DeS.
My time in-game is a direct corrollary to my time with Dark Souls games. If you recall...it took my 90 hours to beat my first playthrough of Dark Souls II....I look back on that and think....wow. I really played that game the wrong way my first time
