It's not about popularity. It's about padding the release enough to justify charging $15 for a big patch after the last one was free.
It's a damn shame, really. Thankfully we still have Namco, ArcSys and Atlus around.
The story and dialouge were far worse than in the mainline games, the color-coded weapon system was annoying, and the boss battles weren't nearly as good. For all their talk about how played out the old Dante was, the reboot didn't feel necessary at all. I did like having a proper air dash and multiple grapple options, though.
I actually can't stand that Decapre is the new character because I play Cammy, too. Or at least I did--I've barely touched the game in over a year, and find watching streams more fun than actually playing it now. Capcom hasn't done a very good job of convincing me that Ultra is enough reason to get back in.
Pretty much. I've completely ignored the main Final Fantasy series since X came out. In fact, FFXHD will be the first Final Fantasy game I've bought since Dissidia came out. And the only new version I'm interested in has been in development hell for 8 years, and still has no release date. -_-
Karin would be awesome. I'd also love to see Alex or R.Mika come back, too.
Don't really give a shit about a comic-specific character. Hopefully they'll be cool enough to change my mind once they're revealed.
Tomb Raider was one of my favorite games last year. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. :)
I'm sure we'll see more than a few last gen games get the update treatment. In fact, that's why I didn't buy The Last of Us when I still had a PS3--I'm sure that and GTAV will be getting next gen ports sooner or later.
Columbia is a real city!?!? :O
