I think a lot of third parties are looking to port over their holiday releases to this Nintendo console for the launch window.
I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one.
Those who participated in the Potato Sack ARG and were able to complete it at a certain point in time received an amazing freebie, IIRC. According to G4, the Valve Complete Pack was a bundle worth $100 with a downloadable copy of every one of Valve's titles, including Portal 2. Apparently, the games could even be gifted to other people on an individual basis.I have not played Mass Effect 2, either, Stanton. I don't think I've played any Bioware titles, truth be told. Take that!
Stanton, your "A person is smart, people are stupid" paraquote is from Men In Black, where Tommy Lee Jones talks to Will Smith on the park bench before Smith choosing to join the MiB.
The project Stanton and Nate allude to isn't a secret at all. We at PixlBit are currently working on a series of features asserting why video game consoles of this generation have been failures and successes. Stanton's pledged to state how the 360 has been a success, and he said his rebuttal to my argument of why the console failed would take just two words, totaling seven letters.
Still needs to be "I'm your host, Nate Hascup, and this is PBN."Odds are I'll be back this next week, but I have to heartily thank Nate for filling in. I appreciate it, and while I'm only seven in on listening, so far it's going great.I'll touch on what you said about Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario Galaxy. I think the sequel kind of settled between the 2D Mario's traditions and the 3D Marios, and while it was a great game, the middle-ness of it was too in the middle. Middle. Middle is fun to type.
And launch off your own podcast, because I think I lot of people would enjoy this type of thing.
Looks like I'll be adding something to my PSP to-buy list. It might take a while, but I'll try to get around it sooner than later.
So, it sounds like PSN had some major security issues. Yikes. It's great they're fixing the issues, but why didn't they just outright confess this when Sony shut the network down on Wednesday?
That was my joke guess, too. >.>
It took a while to find it, but it looks like Amazon is doing a similar promotion. They're showing about 145 games that are subject to the deal, and do many will likely have lower prices. Thanks for the tip. For those considering buying online at all, check out Amazon's deal and compare it to TRU's, because it's definitely something to consider.
Edit: For instance, it looks like only 16 PS3 titles are eligible for Amazon's deal. Still, there's a lot of great stuff there.
I definitely am thinking about buying Portal 2 tomorrow. Anyone have any other recommendations?
The traditional Sonic gameplay in this video is a little bit more comforting than what I saw last time, but there's also some "Modern Sonic" gameplay in there.
Good news? Watching the modern Sonic gameplay is nearly the same experience you'll have actually playing as modern Sonic.
Bad news? Watching the modern Sonic gameplay is nearly the same experience you'll have actually playing as modern Sonic.
