That's true of almost every long running franchise though. How many times can you jump over a pit in Mario? How many times can you find the Morph Ball in Metroid or select attack in Final Fantasy? There's underappreciated talent that goes into making more of the same feel fresh, something I felt Halo did a good job with in the preceding titles.
Ehhhhh.....wait for my review. They both make me sad
Good to see you back man. Agree on MGSV despite its flaws, but not gonna lie: I hated Halo 5. I feellike gaming lost something it may never get back after playing.
I've heard a lot of good things about that game
Thank you! Check out the newest Backloggers Anonymous for more of my thoughts on Tomb Raider
Probably The Last of Us. The way that ending plays out, makes me really think about how we interact with the ones closest to us and are willing to accept any of their flaws, regardless of how severe they are.
Actually Halo campaigns have always been well praised. In fact, Halo 3 especially has been more appreciated over time. Granted 4 had lower opinions after, but pretty much every sequel has that. It's just the nature of fans being the first to buy and give their reactions
Crash Bandicoot by Naughty Dog. Or Sanzaru or Sucker Punch. I just want another great Crash game.
