I finished Link's Awakening a few years ago. Really liked it, but it's definitely not my favorite Zelda. My favorite 2D Zelda is easily Link to the Past. My favorite 3D Zelda is Ocarina (I have a hard time comparing the 2D and 3D Zelda's).

Did you watch the other Riddick movies? I really liked those. Or better yet, did you play Escape From Butcher Bay? That's a classic!
It looks really nice, but I'd rather have the portable version for $100 more. Gravity Rush is my most wanted game on that system and I know it's unplayable on the Vita TV. I also feel like the poor thing would collect dust next to a PS4.
Cool. Clearly, this bombed pretty bad to be selling at $10. Was Riddick good?
Yes, gaming is definitely not as mainstream as movies. I also am too embarrassed to whip out my PSP in public. The only time I have is when I'm studying in an empty library! Sure, you see people playing on their iPhones all the time, but that also can easily be passed off as texting or browsing the internet. It may also be because casual gaming (or gaming with one hand) is more accepted than hardcore gaming on PSP!
This is true. The chances is of finding a variety of consoles in a pawn shop is probably unlikely too. Yeah, a gaming shop would probably be the best bet.
If I ever go to a gaming convention, I hope PAX is the one I go to. Good to see you got a lot of stuff covered.
If I had a pawn shop with gaming systems nearby I definitely would have went there first, even if it meant spending a few extra bucks. At least I could try and see if it works there. And yeah, I can only imagine the ratio of working to not working 360's on ebay!
Yeah, I've already contacted the seller and am waiting on a reply. Not really worried, I know lots of people who get refunds when these things don't work out.
The problem is the game industry has not yet adapted to used games. CDs used to be the vast majority of income for bands until the internet and piracy came into play. Now bands have adapted to the change by doing more touring. I still don't think music has even fully adapted to the reality that is piracy.
You also have to accept risks with buying used games (scratches that affect playablitiy, lack of online pass). These are the same kind of risks that come with buying anything used.
