Man, I remember playing Jetpac via the arcade cabinet in DK64. Hard to believe Rare was around that long before their epic partnership with Nintendo and move to Microsoft.

I remember Dark Cloud 2. Was a good rental for me. Cel-shaded games were my favorite at the time.
No, the band comes out as a normal band, with screens playing music videos above them synced to the music, and they do the voices and say the usual stuff in between songs (I remember the singer saying something abt Texas being the only state that can secede and some joke about it when I went). Sounds less exciting than it is; it's awesome.

I think it's both a neat idea and a waste of money as well as a way to hide certain things probably on these discs' codes behind a paywall. Love the concept, not a huge fan of the obvious nickel-and-diming tactics designed to appeal to the collector part of gamers' brains. I own none, but got my buddy a Samus amiibo around Christmas 2013.
I only own Dethalbum II, which is alright with some key songs I really like, but I need the first one which I think is better.

I too had my eyes on The Evil Within, Resident Evil remake, and Shadow of Mordor when they were on sale, but I've decided to only purchase things I already consciously wanted to purchase unless the sale is below $10. I consider the $100 spree that got me GTA V, Bloodborne and some indies a fluke since that was with graduation money. Gift money doesn't count.
As for what I've been doing, I signed up for NanoWrimo. That's as far as I got ... maybe coffee would work for me? I did gamble Monday when I was in Shreveport for work, drink a lot of cheap alcohol Tuesday after Bossier City, slept Thursday, and still have a lot of debt as of today, so in a lot of ways I'm pretty much a modern day Dostoyevsky.
