Project X-Zone 2: Team Bandai Namco

Posted on 02/25/2016 at 08:47 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Here's a funny thought.  My grandmother's name was Sue.  My grandfather's name was Clyde.  Those are also the names of two of the ghost monsters in Pac-Man (and Ms.).  So would that make me part ghost monster?  If so, power pellets wouldn't work on me. :)  I do like the ghosts in Pac games though.  I think they're just as important as Pac is.

I would love to be in the games!  I would team up with Pac-Man and Reiko Nagase!  Unless you can think of a better fit?

Yeah KOS-MOS is in all the Namco X Capcom/Project X-Zone games.

I'm in all the games, too!  Well, OK, I'm not.  Just wanted to see if you were paying attention.

Mario Spin-off Games #19--Super Mario Strikers

I loved how angry everyone was in this game.  I wouldn't want ALL Mario games to be like that, but it was funny to see them in this one.  I'm not very good at the Strikers games, though.

Yup, I did get it on PS2 for the Ape Escape mini-game.  But don't worry, I got it on sale.

While I'm usually not big into 3-D fighters, I do enjoy Soul Calibur games quite a bit.

Fight A Day 18: The Power of Power Stone

Power Stone was pretty fun but it kind of got chaotic sometimes.  I really only enjoyed the game a lot when I played with freinds, though.  I think it's funny that there was a Power Stone anime. I have a couple of them on DVD.

Mario Spin-off Games #18--Mario Superstar Baseball

Posted on 02/24/2016 at 02:12 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Nintendo was smart to have Namco make this game because Namco has had lots of experience with arcade style, pick-up-and-play baseball titles.  Namco's most famous baseball series is called Family Stadium.  It's called that because they first came out on the Famicom.  If a Family Stadium game comes out on another console or arcade, they call it World Stadium.  Family Stadium is so popular that people in Japan just shorten it to Famista.  In Japan, the Mario baseball game is actually called Mario Family Stadium.  The very first Family Stadium game came out in the US under the name R.B.I. Baseball.  The only small problem with the Mario baseball game is that it plays a little slower than some of the other Family Stadium games.  There are some Family Stadium games that have teams made up of classic Namco characters!  Such as Heiachi, Valkyrie, Wonder Momo, Reiko Nagase (Ridge Racer lady), and lots more!  I know a lot about Namco.  Speaking of which, I just posted a blog about the Namco characters in Project X-Zone 2!

Pokemon Nintendo Direct Announced!!!

I bet they'll talk a lot about Pokken.  I wish they'd announce Pokemon Channel 2.  I think I'm the only one who kind of liked that game.

Never played MGS2, but I did get MGS3 on sale for one reason only.  Let's see if you can guess why.
