Addictive Gaming Parte Dos

See, I recently got them all in City and actually thought Knight wasn't as bad. There were 400 in that game and 440 if you count Catwoman. I didn't like having to do it for the complete ending in Knight and some of them really made me scratch my head. Had to look up about 4-5 for Knight and only 1 for City. Don't remember for Asylum, but I'm replaying it now.

Origins is the only Arkham game where I've completed the main game, but not the side missions. I'm hoping my computer can run it better this time around if it's on lowest settings and I put my laptop in Turbo mode where the bkg programs get shut off.

So This Is August, And Another Game Off Mount Backlog

I looked it up and there's no PS+ version like there is for Driveclub, it's just that the demo is two hours long. No wonder, because I was seriously thinking they gave me the game on accident after downloading that demo. lol

I wonder what a video game where you play as a literal (virtual) PC Police force would look like.

Oh yeah, I saw Angry Birds merch everywhere just a couple years ago. It's all Minions now. I guess I'm just such a hipster some of this stuff remains popular while I remain oblivious. lol

Tetris Ultimate? I think that's the name of the one in Summer sale. I didn't buy it, but I watched the trailer for it with the office space being turned into a Tetris game. I have freetetris.org, so I feel like I don't need a PS4 game. That said, I might buy Legend of Korra for PS4 since it's only $6 even though I bought it new on Steam a while back. White Night also grabbed my attention as far as Summer Sale stuff this week.

I don't have the 360 battery problem since it's just a USB cord without wireless. I found out only recently my PS4 controller was wireless. I'm glad my brother told me, because I was about to go out and buy a new one! I thought the charging cord was just a cord, since I skipped over the last gen and figured my friends had all just had to buy wireless controllers for their 360s. Embarassed

But there's no exposing there is what I'm saying. It's two people or organizations either going along with or in on some lie.

Randi was ultimately revealing the truth, but he was doing it by showing how he could deceive people into thinking a lie WAS the truth. For example, he gave parapsychologists a list of conditions to really test some psychics he'd hired and later revealed how they'd gotten around those conditions. I don't necessarily think cable news is similar because its agenda isn't necessarily revealing the truth. At least not in my opinion.

You can tell him that in social sciences like the one I studied, there are people who see themselves as legit scientists while others see themselves more as humanists. Neither of them would say media studies is a hard science though, i don't think.

Wow, its August

Julian has a friend in batmobile hatred on this site now! I mean, he could have gone to countless other forums for that, but I'm still happy for him. lol

The "twist" was definitely disappointing though.

In Randi's case, it seemed to mostly be network television, especially Johnny Carson.

I'm intrigued by your comment though. I know that cable news lies, but when has someone told a lie to expose this?

Something they pounded in my head when I was getting my Master's in Mass Communication is that anything studying the human mind or behavior is not going to be as clear cut as say what temperature water boils at a certain elevation. The research we do can still be applied to the real world effectively and consistently, but it's not a hard science, because while humans can be very similar, especially when studying in the context of a single culture, humans will always be a fairly unpredictable variable.
