Final Fantasy X Part 1

Posted on 05/22/2014 at 05:51 PM | Filed Under Feature

FFX is a great game in my opinion. If you can endure passed Tidus's awkward laughing scene the rest of it is golden and I found it to be one of the best FF stories ever told. I know somke people diss X-2 but I enjoyed it simply because it allowed gamers to get a "true happy ending" (Though it's difficult to get) and it was a nice return to the job system. (With sexy eye candy to boot with all the dress spheres)

PS: Only other thing I could not stand was the blitz ball nonsense. At least much of that was optional. lol.

Totally. Matter of fact, many people that worked on Monster Hunter also worked on Dragon's Dogma! In other words, you can climb creatures as you hack away at them! However, Monster Hunter still has more creature variety.

Gaming Lull!

Funny,I felt the same. After Flotsam I hit the dwarven city and felt as if the place was too labyrinthine. Now I'm running around trying to find all the separate ingredients to cure Dosaika (A hero female knight) of her poisoned condition and the mobs of monsters can easily take me out despite my nice gear. I also wish I could simply chug potions at my leisure as opposed to having to meditate first! Maybe I'm just playing wrong. Yell

I thought it was odd there was no "jump command". lol. I mean you're given this huge open world to chop up things and drive around in yet you cannot jump. Beyond that, I was lucky enough not to experience any bugs. Brutal Legend was a bit of a hodge-podge though. It goes from an open world hack n slash to a real time strategy battle of the bands! I can see where that might throw some people for a loop!

Ah,the classics! I played Growl a few times in the arcades. I'm a bit unfamiliar with everything else, sadly!

Hope it does well despite people's misunderstandings about Harmonix. Guitar hero and Rock band always looked fun but I never got a chance to try either of them. Brutal Legend is probably the most music centric game I've ever played. Assuming you like "Heavy Metal" and the imagery that goes along with it I highly recommend that game!

I totally agree,Michael. You have to play it safe with dry meat and at that moment I did not have a beverage handy. I should have known better but sometimes we take those little things for granted. (And even those little things are important)

Dragon's Dogma is on the 360 too but I'd suggest getting a PS3. It has a wider selection of games overall and yes both DD & DS are multi platform!
