Sounds fun. Getting tired of the apocalyptic wasteland setting though.

I've always said "DayDayDay." I guess I should have watched the cartoon to figure out the correct pronunciation. Nice find!
I don't know if I asked this before, but where is the intro to your video from? Also, I notice the Guacamelee music in the background. Nice touch.
I still like those games despite never having even touched the Chao gardens everyone says is their favorite part, but I can admit they have not aged well. Sonic Generations seems cool though.
I might read some more TMNT comics.
That's awesome! I'd love to teach a class on ethics/philosophy/history etc. involving comics. Even though I don't know that much about them and keeping that section of the library organized sounds like it might be hell. lol
I never even heard of The Maw and I vaguely remember Pip. I'll have to play my Steam copies of the Bit.Trip games to see Commander Video. As for Shantae, I might buy her game on Playstation 4. I love Shovel Knight and may just buy it for my PS4 even though I already own it on Steam, but I'm holding off in case it becomes a free PS+ game.
Believe it or not, I've probably had the most experience with Jazz Jackrabbit games, due to free demos being on home computers. I always thought of him when I heard Sonic was originally supposed to be a bunny.
I was one year old. But I definitely remember a lot of the music from Metallica, RHCP, Blues Traveller, Spin Doctors, Pearl Jam, etc. because it kept being played throughout the decade. I didn't find out until years later that Mariah Carey was actually by far the most popular artist of the time, because my older brother and I typically kept tuned to the alternative and hard rock stations in Dallas.
The music you've got on your list is way heavier than anything I'd have listened to in the 90s though. I was a little guy, so I was more of a Hanson and Green Day fella. I did really like Guns N' Roses' "Paradise City" too.
As for gaming, I believe Super Mario World and F-Zero were launch titles. I played a ton of the former and remember the latter and Star Fox being rented from hotels when we were kids.
I think most of Blood Sugar Sex Magic was aired on the radio throughout the 90s. Rick Rubin knows what he's doing and that's when RHCP's signature sound really formed. I forget if that CD or Mother's Milk were when Jon Frusciante became their guitarist. Their 80s funk metal stuff is cool. Primus was never my favorite; honestly never got into "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" from Tony Hawk's soundtrack. Only songs I know from Cypress Hill are "Insane in the Membrane" and "I Could Just Kill A Man" because Rage Against the Machine covered it; I actually prefer the cover.
I think I had an ant farm as a kid. Was actually pretty interesting. I love Stephen Fry. I didn't get into Cronenberg movies like The Fly until much later on. He's one of those film nerds directors that film geeks I know love. I liked Darkwing Duck as a kid.
I beat the main mission and one of the first unlockable side missions in Ground Zeroes.
In City's case, methinks either it's because I now have the huge Microsoft Office file on my laptop or because maybe I had Windows 8 instead of 8.1 when I initially downloaded it. I have no other games on my laptop, so it isn't that.
And yeah, that makes me less excited for Project Cars. I miss Burnout and Need For Speed and arcade racers in general. I think that's why I like the Batmobile so much, because it fills that void a bit.
I disagree, because it's the 5 year old me that would love this the most, especially given the art style.
