There were quite a few clones on the PS2. Some were good, and some were cash ins from the San Andreas hype.

I loved Chinatown Wars. I think the one thing I really liked what that you had to unscrew a panel in a car to hot wire it.
It'll be an interesting read. I'm picking up my copy Tuesday Afternoon.
I've been going GTA Blackout because I don't want to get too hyped about the game, but the items about the map is interesting (the doctored images on Reddit are comedy). One of my favorite things to do in San Andreas is just fly around the map, and it looks like I'm going to have one hell of a time.
Can't wait to read your thoughts on the game, I'm picking up my copy on Tuesday Afternoon.
Gotta agree about the Hoff. If I ever run into his albums from Germany I'm buying them!
Oh that episode is comedy. One of my favorites is the one where Johnny Fever was taking part in a study and his reaction time would get faster as he drank more alcohol.
I'm putting off jumping into the Humble Bundle as long as possible because I know once I start, it's downhill and my backlog grows.
Damn. I thought that was going to happen to me, but the players on my team kept scoring, and made it interesting.
That does suck. I'm lucky to be in a small town where the only game store is GameStop, and the local mom & pop CD spot no longer takes games (I found a bunch of longboxes there). The one thing similar to your situation is the local swap meet, where everyone selling games thinks they are eBay or everything is worth retail ($10 SMB on the NES)
I'd like to see a review of it, but the overall concept sounds really good and could get back into PC gaming.
You know 3rd Rock and Seinfeld had hit and miss episodes for me. I thought both were good, but I wouldn't put up as one my favorites. We almost had the same tastes in television shows.
