Thanks!...and I knew it. People do drive a lot slower when I'm getting a new toy!
I've become a fan of the 7 inch tablets. I love my iPad, but having the smaller tablet makes it easier for me when I go out and I want to bring the Nexus with me.

Yup the Nexus 7 is a powerful little tablet, and for the price one heck of a deal.
As for my laptop, I'm running a Macbook Pro. I just watched a video of the Chromebook, and that piece of tech is really nice.
I do hope the license is given to a couple of companies so the game can actually improve. If EA still had competition NCAA 14 would be head and shoulders above what it is currently.
Oh my two other towns I really don't take seriously. The third town is one I wanted to take what I learned from the previous two on how to set up a city. My second one was one I messed around with, and came in handy during Wacking Day when I needed eggs.
Good stuff with Squidport, the compound and Learning Annex. Have you seen the images for the new Krustyland? Apparently it's supposed to be a separate land you travel to. This should be really fun when it's released.
I saw a Sega Genesis version at Toys R Us. It came with 80 games (the usual suspects) and has a slot for carts. I'm trying to justify the $50 pricetag
Thanks for sharing your vacation pics. I've always wanted to tour the country just to see spots like that.
Ah the Hipsters. The ones here roam around on fixed gear bikes, drink PBR, and one yesterday was wearing a beanie...in 110 degree weather.
Oh wow I own some of these games!
Super Monkey Ball: I thought it would be like Marble Madness...I got dizzy and stopped playing it. I haven't touched it since
Cars: I actually played that on the PS3. I thought it wasn't bad for what it was
Plug N Play: I had the Madden/NHL 97 combo. I bought it at Target for $4 on Clearance, played all of one game of NHL 97 and never played it again (I ended up just hooking up my Genesis to the TV for 16-bit retro goodness)
The cutting is awesome. One run almost looked like a run from Tecmo Super Bowl, where you zig-zag and the defenders couldn't catch you.
NCAA 07 was the first college football game I bought for the PSP and the PS2 on launch day. I really wanted them to be able to cross play but nope, it didn't happen. My copy is also the one that had the 4th and short glitch, where on 4th down, if you gained a yard or two for the first down, it was considered a turnover.
I do like the cleaned up fighting but the overall package of Mortal Kombat hasn't really changed much: Realm is in trouble, Raiden needs someone to stop the new bad guy, repeat. I was actually ok with the original controls , probably because my brother and I memorized all the moves and fatalities.
I do like the cover, Shepard Fairey did an awesome job!
Nah, Simpsons doesn't go into that. It would be interesting. At one point Lincoln goes into the library to see what happens but he only finds Romance Novels and Sudoku books. He then tries to blend in with everyone else and walks around in a Hawaiian shirt. It's pretty funny
I'll probably pick up Madden after the NFL Season. I just don't play it as much, and when I bought 13 for the Vita, I think I played a total of four games. If their was two companies that had the NFL license, I would alternate games every year and enjoy pro football games a lot more.
Like many, I started on 1Up. I had other blogs, but 1Up was interesting to me because it involved a hobby I just got back into, and there were many interesting folks on there that didn't take themselves too seriously (I saw a bunch of this on the old Playstation forums). There was a bunch of interesting info about not only current gen games, but many were still into playing older games.
I wanted to contribute, give my thoughts about games, and hopefully learn a thing or two. I did that and met some really cool people at the same time.
