People here in Oklahoma tend to view their politicians and political parties like sports teams. They follow blindly because that's what their parents did. Makes it so much easier when you don't have to think. Or look at the issues at hand. Just vote for the same old white fart you've always voted for. Keeps people preoccupied with the show and missing out on a chance to do something positive for our state.
You have your values in the right place. People are what matter,not material goods. I don't try to chase after big ticket items and fancy things. We all have to live within our means. Though many do not,they simply run up enormous credit card debt. That makes people indentured servants in a way. They find themselves so far in debt they can never get out. We got rid of our cards after paying them off. There are tons of absolutely miserable rich folks in the world. Always wanting more and more stuff!
Everyone likes killing Nazis. I especially like PWNING the ones who crop up online in COD:Black Ops 2 multiplayer. You'd be surprised how many swastikas you see on people's emblems. Kinda disturbing to me. I hunt them down mercillessly!
Hotel Dusk is a great game. I found it in a thrift store for 5 bucks. I think it's one of my best games I own for DS. The 3DS is a handheld everyone should have. The possibilities for the future are just amazing. Congrats on the two pounds. It gets tougher for me to lose weight the older I get. I have to walk for an hour at a brisk pace on the treadmill to even lose a pound. And I gave up soda,which helps a lot.
Hope the entire game has that same sense of humor. I like that in an action game.
Good to have some news like that today. Keeps the dark forces at EA at bay! Rage was a fantastic game,so that's definitely a plus on that game engine.
I love that song. my brother played me the Hendrix cover when I was a kid. Then later that year I heard the original,by Bob Dylan. I was all....WTF!!!! I prefer Hendrix.
Sounds like a useful tool for keeping track of your backlog. I may have to start that up myself. As frightening as it might be to learn just how backlogged I am! Like you,I could give a flying crap about achievements and trophies. Not what matters to me. A game is finished when the final scene ends. At least to me anyhow.
I would suggest either Bayonetta or Wolfenstein. I have both games,but have not finished them. Both have been out a while so they could work I think.
Nice job on Stursty! Like the colors you used on him. And those steampunk style goggles are a great touch,too.
