Ha! The playing is not so much the issue, it's hotel stays. I think I'll do a four day weekend up there sometime. It won't be that much, but I'd like to be back working full time first, hopefully by this summer.
They say defense is the key to the playoffs and the Eagles defense has been called the best in the NFL, so if Foles can perform, it should be a good game, close and exciting. I'm finding myself getting so crazy about already, and I've been a kind of sideline fan for the last few years.
Big screen is always better, I say. I gotta wear glasses for small text these day, but I resist using them for games whenever possible. I've started some exercises for the eyes too. I'm hoping to reverse the trend a bit.
I can't wait to visit that. I almost went over the holiday break. I'd feel guilty spending money right now though. Soon.
I've been spotting rare cars from the game in other places. I saw a '65 Ferrari Barchetta in a showroom the other day and a 50s Corvette in a tv show I was watching. I was like, oh there's that car from Forza. . . oh wait, it's the real car that they rendered in Forza. Ha! Gotta remember what's real. Darn games.
It's a rare racing game that gets me. Most of them are too SIM and perfectionist for me. Five minuted into Horizon though and I knew I'd love it. Something about the controls. It's like Burnout but less crashes.
I'm starting to get over it. Games are so long now, it's like impossible to really complete anything anymore. Unless, of course, Mark and I get into something at the same time for months at a time. Then it's possible. But that takes two and Okami is single player and Mark was only mildly interested. When we start to compete with each other, or rather, when Mark starts getting competetive, because I'm really not like that, stuff gets done.
I was excited about the Eagles until Wentz got injured. After the next horrible game with Foles I thought it was all over. I was so surprised they beat the Vikings. Now I'm excited again. I also remember 2004 (or was it 2005) when McNabulous and TO were in the Superbowl. I think McNab was on Madden that year as well. Such a let down but what a great season. I can't wait to see them battle the Patriots. Eagles defense is top notch and they say defense wins playoff games. As long as Foles can put up points like he did with the Vikings, we've got a chance. My friend Mark loathes the Patriots, so he's going to be spitting fire if the Patriots win. If nothing else, watching that will be entertainment enough. Ha! I'll say this. I'm already seeing the Phily extreme fandom coming out in my area. Phily's a tough crowd but they are as passionate about sports as you can get. It's going to be fun.

Had a friend at my work telling me about Darkest Dungeon. I heard a lot about it when it first came out on my podcasts. I like the look of it. I should play it on my Vita. I love games like that for my Vita.
I made it through the 4th book but couldn't continue. It was much longer, maybe too long. I also didn't see the very last movie. I'd play all the lego games though. I don't think I'm spoiling anything. I kind of know the whole story.
I'll play it again one day. I still have my PS2 copy.
It would be Boston. One day I'll go there and then scoot over to Funspot mega arcade in New Hampshire after that. That's my goal one day.
I had no patience for it this time. I notice that I tend to get impatient when I'm renting a game. I guess I'm anxious to see the next one if the one I'm playing gets boring in any way.
