I'd say the Oscars, besides the red carpet ceremony, are a bit of an exception. The awards go to what film nerds would like as opposed to simply what's popular (Grammys, aside from sometimes like that Beck win).
And Gaga's a classically trained Juliard musician, so that didn't surprise me. I actually like her pop songs too, just sometimes am not in the mood for the videos.
I just thought Grand Budapest or maybe The Imitation Game would be more the Academy's stule, even despite the actor narrative. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they pulled off the continous shot editing.

You could just use the d-pad to choose an answer and enter with x. Basically what you can do with a mouse/keyboard already when playing it at a computer. I actually don't play it on my phone. I don't see why you'd have to rely on seeing friends scores or play against them second-by-second. Your turn goes on as long as you keep answering correctly and you can respond a couple days later if need be.

Yeah, talking definitely helps. I had to go to therapy in Fall 2013 after several breakdowns basically and both that and Paxil (pyroxetene anyway, off-brand) helped. I may need to get back on those, since I get agitated a bit too easily.
I came out of that feeling like a new person, but in some ways I have backslid. Working out helped too. I think exercise if the closest you can get to a real life video game, since you see results of your work and can operate on an increasingly difficult scale.
That's rough, My laptop actually just had a very irregular shutdown and its battery is also constantly trying to escape.
