I don't mind DLC for the most part. Paying for extra costumes, bonus missions/sections (outside of main story), etc. are all good but having DLC for a continued ending bugs me. Like you mention, I do like the default ending but than again, I didn't pay $60 for the experience. Different strokes for different folks I guess but I wouldn't want this to be some sort of precedent for AAA gaming going forward. For that reason, I think it's a good thing that fans were so outspoken with the DLC release. Better that than Capcom doing this with all of their releases.

As I state in my review though, I do like the game overall and would recommend.

Yeah i'm not sure the game sold enough to warrant a re-release including DLC.Shame really

I'd pick this up. I let this slip past me first time round but at a price drop with all the DLC, Bethesda have themselves a deal

For the most part the button choices for the QTE's stay constant throughout. A couple of the counter QTE's were with a different button though if i'm remembering correctly

Maybe i'm being too mainstream here or whatever but I have very high hopes for GTA V. Of games i've actually played, I would go have to go with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing as it's the only 2013 release I think i've played. While very good, I don't think it belongs in this conversation.

I always liked Tifa from FF7, she was pretty bad ass. Kasumi and Ayane in DOA are awesome. Nina Williams from Tekken is another good one (and bonus points for being Irish). I have Bayonetta currently in my backlog so she may jump into my favourite list at some stage.

I generally enjoy female leads in video games as it's a nice change of pace. Getting the same ol' muscle bound dbag every game gets old.

Looks interesting. I've never played a Shin Megami Tensei game before but I may just be tempted if I come across this on the cheap. I should probably make sure I can find my DS first though....
