As far as I'm concerned Final Fantasy IX was the last real Final Fantasy. FFX was pretty and all but by the time a beat I was just pissed, everything since has been down hill. FFXII was a mixed bag for me. There are some things about it that I really loved and there are some things that just suck. But at least it still felt like a Final Fantasy game. FF13 and 13-2 are not horrible, but they got some serious issues, mostly being that they just don't feel like true FF games. They are so far removed in everyway from the roots that it just seems like they are simply trying to milk the name for every dime they can.

Obviously they won't get Sakiguchi back, but they need to let someone else take control before Nomura runs in clean into the ground and beyond. People can talk about all the changes in the original 9 games as justification for the last handful. But there was a consistancy in those original 9. Also they were not afraid to take old ideas and rework them into the next new game. I'm all for innovation and progress, but if you are making cars you don't just suddenly start making speedboats, you make  different cars. FFXV is a is a damn speedboat.

Guesse I should have gave it more of a chance. But its also sounds a lot like a sim game, which I'm not really into. Oh well to each his own.

I played the trilogy and as far as I know I got the new ending, although it looked to me like there was a possible three endings unless of course your choice makes no difference and thats what people are pissed about. I havent' went back to the end so I don't know. But in the case of the Mass Effect games I think the old saying about the journey being better than the actual destination fits perfectly.

And yeah I think the ending could've been better but I'm not going to get all butt hurt and throw a tantrum about it. I thought Stephen King craped out on the final book and ending for the Dark Tower series. But I would still recomend those books to anyone because the lead up to that lame ending was still great. Same for the Mass Trilogy.

Yeah I have heard that it is the most cut-scene laden of the series. Took me awhile to get into MGS3, started it and got stuck several times on the very first mission. After I got my bearings it started going much smoother.

I got that same Castlevania and I got stuck too. I have considered just starting over. ME3 froze on me once and ME1 froze on me once. And I got stuck on top of a coffee table in ME2 twice, lol. Weird how a version for one console can be screwy but not the others. Need to get back into Ni No Kuni, just got to the desert city. The final DLC for Borderlands 2 drops next Tuesday so I'm don't think I will be getting back to Ni No kuni just yet. I have been wanting to get that Jak collection, didn't want to spend 20 for it though, gonna have to hit them up this weekend. I have been sitting on Metal Gear 4 also, I want to finish MG3 before I get into. My backlog is a mess,lol.

Animal Cross Dressing! lol  I found a copy of the Gamcube version at Toys R Us, it was under ten bucks and came with a memory card. I Bought it for the memory card, and I tried the game and I just couldn't get into it. Seemed like the whole point of the game was to collect crap  to decorate your house with. I'm a bad enough pack rat in real life, I really don't need to take that bad habit into the digital realm. Plus it was just boring. To me anyway, its been a popular series so someone likes it.

I just feel they need to hurt a bit, let them twist in the wind, and get a lesson in humility. I still will probably get a 360 when they are dirt cheap,... maybe.lol

I'm in no rush to get anything at the moment. I waited a long time to get a PS3 mostly just because I was broke ten ways from tuesday,lol. I could get PS4 day one, moneys not the issue this time. I just want to see how things will play out. For now my money is still on the PS4.

There is more to being a nerd than dressing funny and being super smart. In fact some nerds have crazy style and talent like Angelo Moore of Fishbone. Thats what happens when people try base a show on stereotypes and not have a clue about real geek culture. I think your show idea is dead on. Give it some witty Kevin Smith style banter and you might be sitting on a gold mine Ben.
