The puzzle aspect sounds interesting, but the drama stuff, eh, not so much.
Yes, Brawl had some great arrangements and a lot of famous guest game composers contributed.
Yeah Dragon's Crown is better but if you just want to play a short burst of arcade fun, the D&D games are good, too. But they don't have the Amazon like Dragon's Crown does!

When the very first Armored Core game came out on PSOne, I was assigned to review it for The Dallas Morning News. That was a long time ago. I'm sure the series has changed lots since then.

I'm just playing Animal Crossing, which is probably the polar opposite of GTAV.
Yeah it's pretty much more of the same from Origins, so if you liked that one, you'll love Legends.
