Need to get use to this...

Yeah, Persona 1 and 2 are a completely different set of games. I adore 3 and 4, but had a really hard time getting into the others. I actually found the PSP remake of 1 to be the easiest to get into, but both sides of 2 are just a little too different for me.

I did pick up Eternal Punishment some years ago when Atlus re-issued the PS1 copy of the game. Glad to have that one in the collection in physical form. Now if they'd just re-issue Revelations: Persona...

Why I'm not going to add my game collection here

One day I intend on making the collection space a little flashier. It's going to take a bit of work (our games database is nowhere near extensive enough), but I'd love for it to feature box art and more data on each game. Of course, it's imperative that it remains quick and easy to use, so I need to put quite a bit of thought into how to do that.

In the meantime I've got quite a few other upgrades to make, so to the backburner this goes.

Thanks for pointing that out, Baron. That's definitely the quickest and easiest way to add games if you so choose to. It goes pretty quick that way, even if you have lots of games.

I added all mine via that tool and as you can see... I had quite a few to get in there Smile.

Viewtiful Joe

Fun Viewtiful Joe story: Got the game in my first year of college (when it came out). Preordered to get the bobblehead at Gamestop and of course, they ran out of them and I never got one. Brought the game back to my dorm and popped it in.

Not sure if anyone remembers this, but when Clover first started talking about the game they said that the difficulty levels in the game were going to be a bit misleading. Kids was supposed to be the hard mode and Adults was to be easy, namely because kids played games more often and would be better at them.

So needless to say, I figured I'd start with what I thought was the easy mode (Adults) and absolutely got my ass handed to me. I though the game was just really hard, so I pushed through it and managed to get all the way to the lion boss fight (who I think starts the boss gauntlet). He was a major pain in my ass and I kept losing.

So, for about a week straight, I left my GameCube on in my room and managed to eventually best that bastard in between classes. Went on to beat the game, which felt like one of the toughest things ever at the time.

Good times.

Yeah, it's definitely a fair game. The odds are stacked against you for sure, but if you're cautious and plan properly, success is always within your reach.

Invasions can be frustrating, especially when you're underpowered. But once you figure out how to play better, these battles become quite tense and exciting. I haven't played much PvP yet, but whenever I get the expansion, I intend on diving in deeper.

I really enjoyed this game (see: review). I have yet to kick it back on to check out the updated graphics that FrozenByte recently released. Really, I thought the stuff from the Goblin Menace DLC really made this game. Those levels were so inventive and interesting they really surpassed everything done in the core experience.

It's going to be hard to play the first game now on the PC without the GamePad. That really made the game a completely different experience. It's practically made for it.

What? Another lost 1up user....
