Wasn't it this game that basically invented quick time events? I only had a Dreamcast for a short period of time. I didn't care for the controller at all. It wasn't comfortable to hold and WTF would they put the cord on the bottom?!
They named Ridley (the dragon boss) after Ripley from Alien. The first Metroid is a bit rough around the edges. So it can be hard to go back to. At the time though there was nothing quite like it. That atmosphere is pretty damn creepy for a 8 bit game. I beat it a long time ago so really couldn't say how I felt. There was no internet back then so unless you heard that from a friend, or somehow discovered the Justin Bailey code, it was a nice little surprise. I'd definitely recommend playing Super Metroid if you haven't. It improves upon the formula quite dramatically.
Nice haul! Hard Corps. Uprising and Super Street Fighter II HD Remix are both awesome. Those were two of my favorite games on PSN. I wish they'd come to Steam. I'm hoping Capcom will port more games to Steam with the recent success of the Resident Evil Remake.
Sorry about that, and the Batman theme. I've been watching way too much of that show lately. It's starting to get to me lol. How many times will the villians make some ultra elaborate death trap only to leave and not actually see it to fruition? How many times can they almost die and then miraculously find a way out? Where can I buy bullet proof soles for my shoes?
I was shocked to discover that DS games come with manuals. Those things are becoming increasingly more and more rare. The only Tales game I played was Tales of the Abyss and not for long. The combat did seem overly complicated though.
You forgot to say "Same Moth time!" "Same Moth channel!" I could use some beer right about now. Nothing good ever comes of it though. 
My friend has been playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on PSP for months. I didn't even know those games existed until recently lol. I'm sure my brother will get Bloodbourne the day it comes out. He's super hardcore about those Souls games.
Yeah. It has a nice art style. Some of the bosses in particular are impressive. The game is pretty intense. These kinds of games are all about practice and learning patterns though. Quick reflexes helps too.
Me too man. The difficulty didn't bother me too much really. I was expecting that going in. Maybe not quite like that though lol. I got my copy off Amazon for like $20. It was definitely worth that.
I missed the whole Digimon craze. Or maybe I was just too old by the time it happened. I watched Pokemon way back when, but that was about it. I never would have guessed that series is about to have it's 15th anniversary.
