For me: neither. I was tempted by Gamefly about a year ago but I heard too many stories about slow shipping like you mention

I think I used to keep an old notepad with reviews on games I owned for the ps1. It'd be fun to find this actually. I can imagine my opinions on certain games have changed dramatically

MGS is my favorite series for sure. I'm planning on replaying MGS4 soon with the added trophies. I bought the HD collection last year and I think the gameplay aged pretty well for 2 & 3. I've heard a lot of people being really critical of the gameplay but I guess you can't please everyone... Enjoy!

Good blog, you raise an interesting point. I really hope next gen we see more developers taking chances but I worry that the cost of development will lead to more of the same... I don't need every game to blow my mind with its graphical power as long as it plays great

I'm a Technical Project Manager for a mechanical press manufacturer. I oversee projects for different retrofit jobs and other installations. It can be boring at times but at least it gives me time to get on here.
